Chiwa Saito is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Saitama Prefecture known for moving fluidly between cool, shadowed performances and unguarded, girlish roles. Her signature credits include Hitagi Senjougahara in the 'Monogatari' series, Homura Akemi in 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica', Chiri Kitsu in 'Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei' and Soifon in 'Bleach'. At the 2011 Newtype Anime Awards, Homura won the female character prize and Saito herself received the supporting actress award. In 'Kemeko Deluxe!' she voiced the title role and also performed the ending theme 'Pripprin Taisou', with lyrics by series director Tsutomu Mizushima and music and arrangement by Takaji Takagi.
