Riyu Kosaka is a singer, lyricist, and stage actress from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Known as a member of the vocal unit BeForU, produced by Naoki Maeda for Konami's music games, she is widely loved as a vocalist of the BEMANI series, and began solo work at almost the same time as the group's debut. For anime, she performed the ending theme 'Danzai no Hana ~Guilty Sky~' for the dark fantasy 'CLAYMORE' and the opening theme 'Kokoro no Ato' for the yokai-themed 'Mokke,' writing the lyrics for both herself. With a pop yet solid voice cultivated through game music, she has handled a wide range of anime songs, from works with serious worldviews to nostalgic everyday tales.
