MAKO is a Japanese female singer and voice actress, and a dual-track artist who is active in music as a member of the Latin-flavored pop unit BON-BON BLANCO while also making her voice-acting debut in the TV anime 'Kamichu!' as Yurie Hitotsubashi, a middle-school girl who one day suddenly becomes a god. She herself performed the work's ending theme 'Ice Candy', adding a bittersweet, cute pop song reminiscent of summer-vacation afternoons to this work, which depicts the Showa-nostalgic scenery of Onomichi and the everyday life of a life-sized middle-school girl.
