Ally Kerr is a singer-songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. His specialty is indie pop built around acoustic guitar and carrying a folk aroma, and he is known for his delicate, melancholic voice. 'The Sore Feet Song', included on his first album 'Calling Out To You', was chosen as the opening theme of 'Mushishi', the fantastical anime based on Yuki Urushibara's manga, and was also released as a CD single in Japan. With its plain acoustic sound imbued with the feel of travel and nostalgia, the track quietly accompanies the story world in which the mushi master Ginko wanders from place to place, confronting mysterious phenomena that arise in the space between humans and mushi.
