An in-story band appearing in 'Macross 7', a fictional group that embodies the rock sound at the core of the work. Led by protagonist Basara Nekki, it is known as the most pointed expression of the series' signature theme of fighting through song. It drove the narrative with numerous songs, including the opening 'SEVENTH MOON', the ending 'MY FRIENDS', and the fervent, series-defining insert tracks 'Totsugeki Love Heart' and 'HOLY LONELY LIGHT'. In the film 'The Galaxy Is Calling Me!' and the OVA 'Macross Dynamite 7' it added numbers such as 'DYNAMITE EXPLOSION', 'PARADE' and 'NEW FRONTIER', greatly expanding the Macross series' musical scope with its live-charged rock.
