Yumiko Takahashi was active as an idol singer and actress, and she brought bright pop to anime themes as well. For 'Mashin Hero Wataru 2' she handled the openings 'Step by Step' and 'Fight!' along with the endings 'Niji no Kanata ni' and 'Kimi ni Tomaranai ~MY GIRL, MY LOVE', adding bouncy vocals to its adventure fantasy. She also sang the ending 'Daisuki' for the beloved 'Chibi Maruko-chan' and the opening 'Good-bye Tears' for 'Haou Taikei Ryu Knight'.
