A Japanese-Korean co-produced adventure anime adapted from Alexandre Dumas pere's classic 'The d'Artagnan Romances.' Broadcast on NHK General and NHK BS2 across 52 episodes, the series follows the young man d'Artagnan, who comes from the countryside aspiring to join the King's Musketeers, as he forms an unbreakable bond of friendship with the Three Musketeers: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. Notably, the originally male character Aramis was reimagined as an androgynous youth for the children's adaptation. Set against the splendid court culture of the French monarchy, the swashbuckling action and the story of young people's friendship and growth made it a beloved adventure fantasy across a wide range of viewers.
