A TV anime produced by Animation Studio Seven. Based on the manga by Motoei Shinzawa serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump," with 10 million copies in circulation (all 20 volumes completed). A Reiwa-era remake coming 39 years after the original 1985-87 anime, broadcast in Fuji TV's "noitaminA" timeslot. A slapstick school comedy featuring the "Kimen-gumi," a quirky group of five led by Rei Ichido, and transfer student Yui Kawawa and their hilarious antics.
