Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart is an anime film produced by Toei Animation, a completely new sequel to the 2014 film "Expelled from Paradise." Produced by Toei Animation and Nitroplus, distributed by Toei. In the year 2400 AD, humanity has abandoned their physical bodies to live in the cyber world DEVA. Following the rebellion of Angela Balzac triggered by Frontier Setter's hacking in the previous film, security agents hacked by Angela and escaped to the surface have become threats to DEVA known as "Fallen." Third-class security agent Gabriel pursues the truth behind the Fallen on a surface still scarred by nanohazards. Directed by Seiji Mizushima, screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), character design by Masatsugu Saito, music by NARASAKI. Starring Ayane Sakura as Gabriel and Saori Hayami as Alma.
