A gag anime set in 'Snack Basue,' a run-down snack bar tucked away in the Kita-24-jo area of Sapporo, Hokkaido, depicting the surreal and outrageous conversations between assistant mama Akemi, the bar's mama Basue, and their eccentric regulars. Based on the manga of the same name by Forbidden Shibukawa, serialized in Weekly Young Jump, the show delivers a unique brand of humor laced with parodies and black comedy. The OP theme is 'Ura Omote Aquarium' by otonari.
