A pure love story anime adapted from the shoujo manga by Morino Moe. High schooler Hinase Hotaru, who had no interest in romance, offers her umbrella to Hananoi-kun on a snowy day, which leads to his confession. They begin dating on a trial basis, and through a 'Things I Want to Do Notebook,' the two gradually close the distance between them in a tender, carefully depicted first romance. The OP theme 'Kimi no Sei' is sung by Sexy Zone, expressing the joyful yet bittersweet feelings of pure love. The ED theme 'Every Second' by Miina Okabe gently wraps the story's lingering emotions.
