There he meets the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, and trains with the battle puppet 'Yoriichi Type Zero.' But Upper Rank Four Hantengu and Upper Rank Five Gyokko launch a sudden assault on the village. Hantengu's Blood Demon Art, which splits and grows stronger with each cut, and Gyokko's supernatural ability to trap Muichiro in a water prison present unprecedented threats. Highlights of this arc include Muichiro's awakening as he recovers lost memories and Mitsuri's brilliant swordsmanship, showcasing the true strength of the Hashira. The opening theme song is 'Kizuna no Kiseki' — a collaboration between MAN WITH A MISSION and milet — while the ending theme song is 'Koikogare' by milet and MAN WITH A MISSION, powerfully coloring the epic tale of battle and bonds.
