The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses

An anime based on the romantic comedy serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Kouji Seo, known for 'Suzuka' and 'A Town Where You Live.' Hayato Kasukabe is a brilliant student who got into the University of Tokyo but struggles to be honest about his feelings. When he returns to the seaside cafe 'Familia' left behind by his late grandmother — from whom he had parted on bad terms — he finds five beautiful girls he has never met before living there, all claiming to be 'Grandma's family.' From this worst possible first encounter, a lively story of love and family unfolds through their shared life and efforts to rebuild the cafe. The first season opening theme is 'Unmei Kyoudoutai!' by Otoriame and the ending is 'Dramatic' by Satou Miki, adding color to the charm of the vibrant heroines.
