A TV anime produced by 8bit, based on the light novel by Tsutomu Sato published under KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko imprint, with over 25 million copies in the series (as of 2023). Set in 2095 where magic is an established technology, the story follows Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba at First High School. In the Visitor Arc, exchange student Angelina Kudou Shields (Lina) arrives from the USNA, but her true identity is Major Angie Sirius, commander of the USNA military's Stars unit, sent to investigate vampire incidents in Japan.
