Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window

An animated film adaptation of Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's world-renowned bestselling autobiographical novel, produced by Shin-Ei Animation. Totto-chan, expelled from elementary school for being too curious and restless, transfers to Tomoe Gakuen in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, where she encounters Principal Kobayashi's educational philosophy of respecting each child's individuality and independence, and grows as a person. Totto-chan is voiced by Ono Riliana, with Yakusho Koji as the principal, Oguri Shun as Papa, and Anne as Mama. Directed by Yakuwa Shinnosuke. The theme song was written by Aimyon.
