The second cour of the TV anime produced by Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP, based on the manga by Miki Yoshikawa, serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. The series has exceeded 15 million copies in circulation (as of 2021). Nagi Umino, a high school sophomore switched at birth, is a hard worker who maintains the top grades in his class. On his way to meet his biological parents, he encounters Erika Amano, a young lady trying to prevent her arranged marriage, who asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend. However, Erika turns out to be the very person he was switched with, and their parents have arranged for them to be engaged. With Nagi's crush Hiro Segawa (ranked second in class) and his step-sister Sachi Umino also joining the romantic entanglements, a multi-sided love comedy unfolds. 24 episodes (2 cours). Main cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Nagi, Akari Kito as Erika, Nao Toyama as Hiro, and Konomi Kohara as Sachi.
