Chainsaw Man

A TV anime produced by MAPPA, based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. The series has sold over 26 million copies (as of December 2023). In a world where devils are commonplace, impoverished boy Denji works as a devil hunter with his Chainsaw Devil pet Pochita. After being killed by yakuza betrayal, Pochita merges with his heart, resurrecting him as "Chainsaw Man." Picked up by Makima of Public Safety Devil Hunter Division 4, he joins Aki Hayakawa and Power in fierce battles against devils. Aired from October to December 2022 (12 episodes).
