A TV anime produced by Eight Bit, based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (story) and Yusuke Nomura (art) serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. The series has sold over 50 million copies worldwide (as of October 2025), winning the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category. After Japan's devastating defeat, the "Blue Lock" project is launched to create the world's greatest striker. Under mysterious coach Jinpachi Ego, 300 high school forwards from across Japan compete in a survival game. Unknown forward Yoichi Isagi uses his spatial awareness to rise through the ranks. Aired from October 2022 to March 2023 (24 episodes). Cast includes Kazuki Ura as Isagi and Hiroshi Kamiya as Ego.
