A TV anime special produced by Eight Bit, based on the light novel series by Tsutomu Sato, published by KADOKAWA under the Dengeki Bunko imprint. The series has exceeded 20 million copies in circulation (as of January 2021). In the year 2095, where magic has been established as technology, siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba enroll at First High School affiliated with the National Magic University. Though so close they are sometimes mistaken for lovers, just a few years ago their relationship was as cold as that of a mistress and servant. Three years earlier in Okinawa, Tatsuya served as Guardian to Miyuki under their mother Maya, head of the Shiba family. Miyuki treated Tatsuya as a tool and was cold toward him. However, when the Great Asian Union invaded Okinawa, Tatsuya risked his life to protect Miyuki, fundamentally changing their relationship. 3 episodes.
