A TV anime produced by MAPPA (Seasons 1-3 by WIT STUDIO), based on the manga by Hajime Isayama serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (34 volumes total). Over 140 million copies in circulation worldwide (as of November 2023). The Final Season depicts the Marley arc from the enemy nation's perspective, the Eldian warrior candidates' war, Eren Yeager's solo declaration of war, and the all-out conflict between Marley and Paradis Island. The fates of Eren, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, and Levi Ackerman undergo dramatic changes. Directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, with music by KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Hiroyuki Sawano. Main cast includes Yuki Kaji as Eren, Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa, Marina Inoue as Armin, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Levi. Winner of the 35th Kodansha Manga Award.
