A TV anime produced by Doga Kobo, based on the light novel by Shuichi Nimaru published by KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko since June 2019, with illustrations by Shigure Ui. Over 1.5 million copies in circulation (as of February 2025). High school sophomore Sueharu Maru has a crush on school beauty Shirokusa Kachi, but is shocked to learn she has a boyfriend. His childhood friend Kuroha Shida appears with a "revenge" plan to get back at Shirokusa and her boyfriend. Classmate Tetsuhiko Kai and idol Maria Momosaka get involved as a romantic comedy unfolds around Sueharu. However, Shirokusa's "boyfriend" turns out to be a lie, and she was actually a fan of Sueharu from his child actor days. Childhood friend Kuroha declares she "absolutely won't lose." 12 episodes.
