An original TV anime produced by Satelight, based on the semi-grand prize winner of "Project ANIMA"'s SF/Robot Anime division, with the original concept from Nekotaro Inui's SF novel "Sakugan Labyrinth Marker." Spanning 12 episodes, in the far future, humanity lives in "Colonies" separated by rock formations, and those who risk their lives to explore the dangerous uncharted "Labyrinth" beyond are called "Markers." Memenpu, a genius girl who graduated college at age 9, dreams of becoming a Marker to find a landscape she's seen repeatedly in her dreams. Her father Gagumber was once a skilled Marker but now works as a laborer. As the mysterious armed group "Shibito" threatens their colony, the father-daughter duo embarks on an adventure into the Labyrinth. Main cast includes Kanon Amaki as Memenpu, Hiroki Tochi as Gagumber, and Kana Hanazawa as Zackletu. Music by Tatsuya Kato. ©"Sakugan" Production Committee
