An anime film produced by Toei Animation, based on the Digimon series by Akiyoshi Hongo. A 20th anniversary commemorative work of the 1999 TV anime "Digimon Adventure." Years after their 1999 adventure, Taichi Yagami is now a college student while Yamato Ishida studies to become an astronaut. As the "Chosen Children" walk their own paths, incidents of Chosen Children worldwide falling unconscious multiply. The cause is identified as the unknown Digimon Eosmon. During their investigation, Taichi and his friends learn the cruel truth: when Chosen Children become adults, their bond with their partner Digimon will vanish, causing the Digimon to disappear. With time running out for Taichi and Agumon, Yamato and Gabumon, they face their final battle. Released February 21, 2020, runtime 94 minutes.
