Love Live! Sunshine!! is a TV anime produced by Sunrise, aired from July 2016. The new series in the Love Live! project is set in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Second-year student Chika Takami of Uranohoshi Girls Academy is inspired by school idols and forms "Aqours" to save their school from closure. A youth ensemble drama about girls finding their own brilliance while admiring the legacy of the original group. 13 episodes.
