Crest of the Stars is set in a future where the Abh, a genetically modified spacefaring race, have built a vast interstellar empire. When the Abh fleet conquers the planet Martine, the president's son Jinto Lin is made a nobleman of the Empire against his will. Seven years later, Jinto boards a patrol ship bound for military academy, where he meets Lafiel, a trainee pilot who is also the granddaughter of the Emperor. When war erupts with the United Mankind, the two must flee through enemy territory together. Based on the Seiun Award-winning novel by Hiroyuki Morioka. Produced by Sunrise.
