"CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~" is the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Key/Visual Art's romance adventure game "CLANNAD," produced by Kyoto Animation. It aired from October 2008 to March 2009 on TBS for 24 episodes. The early episodes cover school-life arcs not depicted in Season 1, while the latter half adapts the game's "AFTER STORY" route, following protagonist Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa's life after graduation. The series portrays their marriage, parenthood, and the tragedies that befall them, weaving a deeply emotional narrative about the meaning of family and life.
