μ's is the in-show school idol group of nine Otonokizaka High School students in the school idol anime Love Live!, and simultaneously the real-world voice-actress unit of the nine cast members who play them. Recording and touring in character alongside the animated story, μ's assembled the musical spine of the franchise, from the first-season opening 'Bokura wa Ima no Naka de' and ending 'Kitto Seishun ga Kikoeru' to the landmark debut single 'Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE,' the second-season opening 'Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki,' and insert songs like 'No brand girls' and 'START:DASH!!'. Together these tracks forged the anthemic sound that defined Love Live! and reshaped what a voice-actress idol project could be.
