The choir club of Kanagawa Prefectural Shonan High School. Accepting an offer from the TV anime 'The Summer Hikaru Died', they took part in the choral scenes of the work, performing the insert songs 'Hibi no Kage' and the 'Kibougayama High School Alma Mater'. They give flesh to a sound written by Leo Imai, composed by series composer Taro Umebayashi, and arranged by pianist Kaori Morita, their fresh and unvarnished student voices rendering the mood of a rural town, scenes of youth, and even the quiet unease lurking in the story. The performances also appear on the official soundtrack, sustaining the sonic world of the work.
