Hitorie is a Japanese rock band originally led by wowaka, who served as vocalist and guitarist. Active as a Vocaloid producer, wowaka brought together his online-scene collaborators Shinoda, Igarashi and Yumao, and the band made its major debut on its own label Hijitsu Records. Through exhilarating sound and meticulous wordcraft, they built a singular worldview and have continued as a three-piece with Shinoda on lead vocals since wowaka's sudden passing. They have provided numerous anime theme songs for titles including 86 EIGHTY-SIX, Mushoku Tensei II and Dance Dance Danseur, fusing the heat of a rock band with a literary lyrical world.
