A TV anime produced by ufotable, based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, spanning 23 volumes with over 220 million copies in worldwide circulation (as of 2025). Set in the Taisho era, kindhearted boy Tanjiro Kamado finds his family slaughtered by demons, with his sister Nezuko transformed into a demon. To restore her humanity, Tanjiro trains under Sakonji Urokodaki and joins the Demon Slayer Corps. Alongside fellow members Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, he faces the Twelve Kizuki demon Rui on Mount Natagumo. The first season "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" aired for 26 episodes from April to September 2019. Music by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.
