A TV anime produced by ROLL2, based on the light novel by Makiburo published under Ichijinsha Novels (Ichijinsha), with illustrations by Mai Murasaki. A manga adaptation by Nazuna Shiraume is serialized in comic LAKE (Ichijinsha) and has ranked in numerous web manga awards. The final volume was released in May 2025, and the series has surpassed 4 million copies in circulation as of March 2026 (including digital editions). Originally serialized on a web novel platform from 2020 and published in book form in 2021. Emi, a Japanese college student who lost her life in an accident, is reincarnated as Remilia Rose Graupner — the villainess of an otome game. As a young child, Remilia lost consciousness due to a high fever, and the reincarnated Emi took over her body. Through Emi's kindness, Remilia experienced "love" for the first time and wished for Emi's happiness within her body. But when trusted people betray her and the game's condemnation event becomes unavoidable, Emi within Remilia lets go of consciousness in despair. At that moment, Remilia — reclaiming her body after 11 years — rises with quiet fury. Directed by Kaoruhisa Iida, with series composition and screenplay by Hiroyuki Yoshino, character design by Reiko Nagasawa, and music by Shuji Katayama.
