LiSA
Artist
LiSA launched her career as an anime singer with "oath sign," the opening theme for "Fate/Zero" in 2011, and has since remained at the forefront of the anime music scene. Her notable works include the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" series, the "Sword Art Online" franchise, and "The Irregular at Magic High School." She is predominantly entrusted with opening themes, frequently serving as the musical face of the anime she works with.
As a lyricist, LiSA writes the words for many of her anime songs, demonstrating strong artistic ownership. Yuki Kajiura has contributed lyrics as well, while co-writing credits with Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN represent another notable partnership. In composition, Tabuchi and Kajiura serve as her primary collaborators, with Kayoko Kusano composing "Gurenge," which became a cultural phenomenon. Her work with next-generation creators such as Ayase, n-buna (Yorushika), and Hiromu Akita (amazarashi) is also noteworthy.
On the arrangement side, Shouta Horie anchors her powerful rock-driven sound, followed by Ryo Eguchi and Yuki Kajiura, with Hiroyuki Sawano also among her collaborators. Her work on the "Demon Slayer" series—including "Gurenge," "Homura," and "Akeboshi"—has sparked cultural movements alongside the franchise's popularity. She has also performed multiple theme songs for the Sword Art Online series, cementing a deep artistic bond with the franchise.
