Daisuke Inoue

A Japanese composer and singer. He made his mark on the kayokyoku scene as a member of the Group Sounds band 'The Blue Comets' and later flourished as a composer. At the request of Yoshiyuki Tomino, a classmate from Nihon University's College of Art, he contributed music to the theatrical 'Mobile Suit Gundam' films, and his own performances of songs such as 'Ai Senshi' and 'Meguriai' became beloved signature works. In the TV anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX', 'Beginning'—originally the ending theme of the third Gundam film 'Meguriai Uchuu'—is used as an insert song, once again demonstrating the enduring power of his music across generations.
